Terms of use
These are the terms for using Synapsium at synapsium.space (“the app”). The app is made and sold by Art-O Productions OPC Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”). By paying for the app or using it, you agree to these terms.
Who can buy
You must be 18 or older to buy.
What you are buying
One payment covers one wedding on one Google account: every feature, every future update, and no subscription. You can invite as many family members and friends as you like to plan that wedding with you. A second wedding needs a second payment.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account safe. Anyone who joins through your invite link can open and change your wedding plan — everything, or only the parts you chose for that link — so share it only with people you trust. You can reset the invite link in Settings → Share; anyone with the old link can’t join anymore.
Your plan is yours
Everything you type into the app belongs to you. Once your wedding is paid, your plan is stored on our servers in encrypted (scrambled) form, and only you and the people you invite can see it in the app. Because the key is held on our servers, a lost or changed phone does not lose your plan — sign in with the same Google account and it comes back. What the app is not
- It does not recommend, list or rank vendors, and nobody can pay to appear in it. Vendor names in your plan are the ones your own family added.
- It is not a booking service, a payment service for vendors, or a wedding planner. Decisions about your wedding are yours.
- Budget figures, headcounts and dates are what you enter; we do not check them.
Fair use
Do not try to break into the app, copy it, resell access, or use it for anything unlawful. We may close access for misuse, without a refund.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the app available and improve it, but we cannot promise it will never be down. We may change features over time; we will not remove the ability to see or export your plan while your wedding is in the app.
If we ever close the service, we’ll give at least 90 days’ notice and keep export working until then.
If the app does not work
If the app doesn’t work as described and we can’t fix it within 14 days of you telling us, we’ll refund what you paid, in full, within 30 days of agreeing the refund. To tell us, write to ojas@gingerfilms.in or WhatsApp +91 88896 63366 with what isn’t working.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app. We are not responsible for losses caused by someone you shared your link with, or by decisions made using information in the app.
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Refunds and cancellation
Not for you? Full refund within 7 days of paying. No questions asked. Other refunds are set out on the Refunds & cancellation page, which forms part of these terms. You can look at the sample wedding before you pay.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction. Write to us first at ojas@gingerfilms.in or WhatsApp +91 88896 63366 — most problems are fixed within a few days.
